Good Smaritan
Good Samaritan is done after Vincent Vangogh’s Good Samaritan (which he did after Delacroix in 1890). The Good Samaritan depicts the kindness of a man helping out another one in need. (A man was robbed, stripped of clothing, beaten, and left half dead along the road. First a priest and then a Levite came by, but both avoided the man. Finally, a Samaritan came by. He helped the injured man on his donkey and took care of him. Jesus asked “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” One replied “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus said, “Go and do likewise.” – Luke 10:25 Holy Bible)
